As the Hockey Community and countless Red Wings fans around the world pay their last respects, prayers, thoughts, peace go to the loved ones of Gordie Howe. Howe also known as Mr. Hockey left us too soon last week. he was 88. Howe played hockey in some professional form during the years 1946 - 1980. Howe played with the Red Wings for several years and won 4 Stanley Cups with the team. He was also part of the Production Line in the 50'. The Production line also included Ted Lindsey and Sid Abel. They were called this because of their ability to score. Howe was a pioneer in hockey and a hero to many. Hockey will never be the same. He will be dearly and deeply missed.

Ali, who was a Olympic gold medalist, former heavy weight world champ and fearless activist for civil rights passed away from septic shock. Many considered Ali the greatest of boxers.
Ali was a true champ in every sense of the word. He will be deeply missed.
