Prayers and Thoughts for Earthquake Victims. How to Help

Prayers and thoughts go out to the victims, families and nation of Haiti who are suffering from a devastating earthquake Tuesday afternoon. 

 The 7.0 magnitude earthquake left thousands of people dead, and many still under rubble. 

The earthquake which took place 15 miles southwest of the capital Port -Au-Prince rocked the Caribbean and could be felt as far away as Cuba. 

The earthquake has devastated on of the poorest countries in the Western Hemisphere and has left many without basic needs that we sometimes take for granted. 

While we can't prevent the earthquake from happening, we are not totally powerless.
