Spurs sweep Cleveland, Did the Cavilers deserve to be the Eastern Conference Champs.

For the third time in five years, the San Antonio Spurs are once again the NBA champs by sweeping the Cleveland Cavilers in four games.

If Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavilers are a good team, what happened to them. Could their victory over the Pistons be a mistake on Detroit's part.

Don't get me wrong, Cleveland can put up a battle, but Detroit should have not given up control in the last four games in the conference series. Maybe the were not hungry enough. Maybe they were worn out. Maybe there are some issues that they need to resolve. Or could
this be the kick in the pants of their egos that the Pistons really needed.

My advice to Joe Dumars is this, whatever you changes you have to make please keep the team intact. Especially your core players like Chauncey, Rip, Chris Webber, Rasheed, and Tayshaun.

By keeping these players, you can increase your chances of reaching the post season and bring the NBA championship back to Detroit, where it belongs.

Thanks to Justin Verlander the Tigers are on the prowl again

Thanks to Justin Verlanders' no hitter on June 12th the Tigers are once again on the prowl in the American leauge.

For the the 6th time in Tiger history has a pitcher pitched a no hitter game. Thanks to sparking team play, Detroit is once again proud of its Motor city kittys.

Way to go Verlander and chew your opponents up Tigers!.

Despite the Pistons loss, we should be proud of the team

Even though the Pistons lost the eastern Conference Championship, we as Detroiters should still be proud of them.

How many NBA teams have made it to the Conference Finals five years in a row and been to the finals twice. Also how many teams can boast that they have excellent players, like Chauncey Billups, Rip Hamilton, Rasheed Wallace, Chris Webber, Tayshaun Price and a stellar bench. Even without Ben Wallace, they still proved that they can make it well into the playoffs

What the Pistons need to do right now is to keep their core starting five, but they really need to regroup and figure out why they are playing the way they are, they need to find why they keep blowing leads.

By doing this, they will once again be the champions that they deserve to be..
