Despite the Pistons loss, we should be proud of the team

Even though the Pistons lost the eastern Conference Championship, we as Detroiters should still be proud of them.

How many NBA teams have made it to the Conference Finals five years in a row and been to the finals twice. Also how many teams can boast that they have excellent players, like Chauncey Billups, Rip Hamilton, Rasheed Wallace, Chris Webber, Tayshaun Price and a stellar bench. Even without Ben Wallace, they still proved that they can make it well into the playoffs

What the Pistons need to do right now is to keep their core starting five, but they really need to regroup and figure out why they are playing the way they are, they need to find why they keep blowing leads.

By doing this, they will once again be the champions that they deserve to be..

Watch out! Ben Wallace and the Bulls are charging.

Despite the fact that the Detroit Pistons have taken a 3 game lead in the Eastern Conference Semi- finals, the Bulls are proving why they have won 3 out of four times against the Pistons during the regular season.

While the Pistons have rocked the bulls at the Palace in game 1 and 2, during the first half of game 3 the Bulls shined on their home turf. Before halftime they even led by at least 19 points.

During the last half however, they were shut down by the Pistons offense and eventually lost the game by 7 points. For a few brief minutes, it seemed that the Bulls were a threat.

If the Pistons want to win this series, they must continue to play like they have been during during the playoffs. Like the champs that they are.

Hearts go out to the family and teammates of Josh Hancock

Thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Josh Hancock and the St. Louis Cardinals on this devastating loss.

Despite the Tigers and Cardinals being World Series opponents, we all belong to the same team, the human one.

Need a sign of spring. The Tigers are playing ball

If anyone needs a sign that spring is coming, they don't have to look for robins returning. They only have to look no further than Lakeland Florida.

Once again
the Tigers are in Spring training. It's now a matter of weeks before we here the crack of the bats and cheering at Comerica Park. Soon there will be warmer weather and longer days.

I can hardly wait for spring and the baseball season to begin.

Welcome back, boys.
