Prayers go out to the loved ones of Chuck Daly
Thoughts and prayers go out to the loved ones, fans, colleagues of former NBA coach and Hall of Famer Chuck Daly.
Daly, a 2 time NBA title winning Pistons and 1992 Olympic Dream Team coach, lost a brief but non the less brave battle with pancreatic cancer on May 9th. He was 78. Daly was considered by many to be one of the greatest coaches in basketball who led the Pistons to 2 NBA championships in 1989-1990 . Daly was also the first coach to win back to back NBA titles and an Olympic Gold Medal.
He was well respected by many and will be missed.

Prayers, thoughts go out to the loved ones of Corey Smith, Marquis Cooper & Will Bleakley
Prayers, thoughts go out to the loved ones, fans, coaches, teammates of Lions defensive end Corey Smith, Raiders linebacker Marquis Cooper and former USF player Will Bleakley.
Smith, Bleakley, and Cooper along with former USF player Nick Schuyler were missing after their boat disappeared off the Florida gulf coast during a fishing trip Saturday. The boat was found turned over Monday with Schuyler clinging for life to the engine.
May they have a safe return.
Stay safe and take care of your teammates in life.

Make a difference Detroit, Vote!!
On Tuesday February 24th, the residents of Detroit have an opportunity to make a difference. How, by voting in the special primary to elect the mayor of Detroit. This election is to see who will run for the remainder of Kwame Kilpatricks term.
Not only is this election important, but it's historic as well. Voters have a great opportunity to make their voices heard and change their city for the better. It's expected that only 15% of voters in Detroit will head to the polls.
Don't be one of the many that are expected to stay home.
